“Ponderosa”

We have known Christy for most of her life as her parents have been lifelong friends. We have watched her grow and mature not only as a wife and mother but also as an artist. She has a talented eye for detail, creativity and perspective. It was only fitting to commission her to create a “Ponderosa” pine tree for our home. Her only restriction was the bronze had to fit on a wall.

Look closely and spot our eagle and bear cub. The frame is made out of birdeye’s ponderosa pine and has large cones and needles gracing each corner. This is a cherished piece of artwork; it’s personal and created by a caring, thoughtful artist.

We are fortunate to possess other forms of Christy’s artwork; a portrait of our golden retrievers, ink drawing, and cute chipmunks painted on wood.
